Eva Virginia Chandler, 85

Eva Virginia Chandler, 85, of Dagsboro, died on Sunday May 14, 2006, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking.

Chandler was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Dagsboro and a member of the Women’s Society of Christian Service.

She is survived by a son William B. Chandler III and; a daughter Patricia C. Adams; three grandchildren, Amy Adams, Will Chandler and Melody Chandler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, William B. Chandler Jr., in 1997 and a brother Wilson O. “Sonny” McCabe Jr.

Funeral services were scheduled for Thursday, May 18, at noon at the Bethel United Methodist Church, Clayton Street, Dagsboro, with interment in Prince George’s Cemetery in Dagsboro.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Mrs. Chandler’s name to the Bethel United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 147, Dagsboro, DE 19939.
