Henry T. Smith

Henry T. Smith passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 11, 2012.

He is survived by his six children, Shirley Sturgis and her husband, Joseph, of Millsboro, Del., Edna Smith and her husband, Martin, of Frankford, Del., Sarah Mifflin, Levi Smith and Ethel Finney, all of Millsboro, Del., and Henry T. Smith Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Dorothy Mae Evans of Millville, N.J., and Virginia James and her husband, Charles, of Wyndanch, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; a host of extended family members and friends; and Ms. Frances Tull, his companion of 10 years.

A funeral service and celebration of Smith’s life were scheduled for April 15, 2012, at St. John’s 2nd Baptist Church in Millsboro, Del., with interment at the church on April 16, 2012. Arrangements were by Watson Funeral Home in Millsboro.
