IRHS offers tailgate passes for 2012 season

Football fans are being invited to join the party at Indian River High School, with tailgate passes being made available for all home games this season.

IRHS will sell to the general public passes for a drive-up tailgating section adjacent to the football field. Tailgaters have enjoyed this vantage point for several years, starting their grills and cooking the best of stadium food around 4:30 on Friday afternoons. There, they can enjoy the camaraderie and IR spirit under the lights.

Only one pass can be purchased at a time, and the person who will use the pass must be present to purchase it. Each fan must also have a season pass or game-day ticket. Alcohol and tobacco are not permitted, and all IR School District policies are in effect within the tailgate area.

Fees for the passes range from $10 to $35. Checks can be made payable to Indian River Sports Medicine. All passes will be personalized and sent out prior to the first home game.

Home games will be on Friday nights Sept. 21 (Glasgow), Sept. 28 (Woodbridge), Oct. 12 (Homecoming vs. Polytech), Oct. 28 (Alumni Night vs. Lake Forest) and Oct. 2 (Senior Night vs. Seaford).

For additional information, contact Todd Fuhrmann at the athletic office, at (302) 732-1500.
