Anyone looking for unique gifts but who doesn’t feel like driving to the outlets, or who just needs a boost of Christmas spirit, can head over to the Millville Holiday Market on Saturday, Dec. 9.

The market, celebrating its fifth year, will be spread out over adjacent locations — Millville Town Hall at Atlantic Avenue and Club House Road and the social hall at Millville United Methodist Church, just across Club House Road.

More than 30 vendors will be on hand with an array of items, including: hand-crafted jewelry, handbags, quilts, hats and scarves, hand-painted glassware, handmade Christmas ornaments, artwork, vintage Christmas decorations, wreaths and trees, repurposed vintage antiques, and clothing from Lularoe and Liddy Loves Clothes.

In addition, homemade jams, jellies and other canned goodies, and homemade local honey can be found for gifts or to become part of holiday meals.

Shoppers needn’t worry about getting hungry during the market hours, as the Indian River High School Cross-Country Boosters will be selling homemade soups, baked goods and other lunch items, while Doric Lodge #30 will offer up its “world famous barbecue.”

Both food booths will be set up outside, according to Millville Town Clerk Matt Amerling — the Boosters will be outside the church, and the Doric Lodge will be set up in the parking lot at town hall.

Parking for shoppers will be available in the Millville United Methodist Church lot.

Each adult attending can pick up a free raffle ticket, which carries with it a chance to take home goodies from a number of local businesses, including: All About U Salon, Atlantic Auto, Banks Wines & Spirits, Bonkey’s Ice Cream, Hooked Up restaurant, Lord’s Landscaping, Miller’s Creek, Millville Pet Stop, Patti’s Hallmark, Reflections Antiques, Salted Vines Winery, Taco Taco and Turning Pages Book Lounge.

The Millville Holiday Market will be held Saturday, Dec. 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Millville Town Hall and the Millville United Methodist Church, Atlantic Avenue and Club House Road. For more information, call town hall at (302) 539-0449.
