Terry R. Cain, 56
Terry R. Cain, 56, of Greenwood, Del., passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, Del.
Cain was born Oct. 13, 1955, in Baltimore, Md., son of the late Claude H. and Beulah (Callis) Cain. He graduated from Woodbridge High School in 1973 and worked as a machinist for Seaford Machinery, specializing in the administration of DuPont contracts. Since 2006, Cain had been employed with ILC in Dover, a job he truly enjoyed. He was an accomplished machinist and held many patents in his name.
Cain was a member of the NRA, Delmarva Hogs and the Seaford Moose Lodge. He had a love for guns, knives, hunting, NASCAR, Harley Davidson motorcycles and, most of all, his Bengal cats. Cain was remembered as a loving father, grandfather, co-worker and friend with quick wit, a great story-teller who will missed by many.
Cain is survived by his son, Christopher Claude Cain of Washington, D.C.; his daughter, Jessica L. Cain of Easton, Md.; a grandson, Cowen Friend; his two cats, Trapper and Camo; and several aunts, uncles and dear friends.
Funeral services were scheduled for Thursday, June 21, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street in Bridgeville, Del. Interment was to follow immediately at Bloomery Cemetery in Federalsburg, Md. Condolences may be sent online at www.parsellfuneralhomes.com.
