ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids for the Town of Ocean View, Open Ended Sidewalk Repairs, Project Number 2018-01 will be received by the Town Manager of Ocean View until 2:00 p.m., local time, on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the Office of the Administrative Official, in the Wallace A. Melson Municipal Building, 201 Central Ave., 2nd Floor, Ocean View, Delaware, 19970, at which time they will be opened, read, and recorded.

The work involves the furnishing of all labor, materials, transportation, tools, supplies and equipment necessary to remove and replace existing sidewalk and/or driveway aprons in the Incorporated Town of Ocean View.

In addition, a pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 - 10:00 a.m. local time, on the 2nd Floor of the Wallace A. Melson Building located at 201 Central Ave., Ocean View, Delaware. Attendance at this meeting is mandatory for all prospective bidders and will be a pre-requisite for submitting a bid.

Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall be marked clearly as follows: Sealed Bid - Proposal for Town of Ocean View, Open Ended Sidewalk Repairs, Project Number 2018-01. Requirements for a 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond, and Contractor’s Insurance are included in the
Contract Documents.

Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction for Bidders. The Town of Ocean View reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and make such award as appears most advantageous to the Town.
