The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that it recently signed up its 800th member, Lynch Publishing Inc. of Ocean City, Md.
Other new members helping the Chamber reach the milestone include Temple Bat Yam, Geri Dibiase Photography, Michael Graphics, Superior Screen & Glass and NV Homes Coastal Division.
“We are very excited to reach the milestone of 800 members,” said Karen McGrath, executive director of the Chamber. “Our membership director, Carrie Subity, has done a wonderful job of not only recruiting new members, but more importantly retaining members and improving benefits.
“The expansion, retention and market penetration of our chamber membership speaks volumes about the dedication of our whole staff and board of directors to increasing the value of membership and serving the community as a whole,” she added.
McGrath noted that as the area’s economy and population change and grow, the Chamber strives to implement proactive programs to meet business needs. Group health insurance, business seminars, and tracking public policy and issues are a few of the ways the Chamber helps member businesses succeed, she said.
