Selbyville

The town of Selbyville will hold its regular monthly town council meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 10, at town hall. (The meeting was postponed a week due to the July 4 holiday.) Council members will hear seven annexation requests. Bonard Timmons and Carol Ann Hastings submitted one request each. Orville Hudson submitted three requests for annexation and Bradford Hickman submitted two. Council members will then discuss an amendment to an ordinance related to the regulation of vehicle storage.

Bethany Beach

• The Bethany Beach Planning Commission will hold a special meeting on Friday, July 7, at 10 a.m. at the town hall. The agenda includes review, discussion and a possible vote of the final draft for the new architectural guidelines for the C-1 and C-2 commercial districts developed by a special committee charged with that task.

• Bandstand entertainment for the week includes the Tim Laushey Orchestray on July 7, rock-and-roll from The Juveniles on July 8 and the Naval Academy Concert Band on July 9, all at 7:30 p.m., and the National Aquarium in Baltimore’s “Beyond the Boardwalk” events July 9-14. Fenwick Island

• The Fenwick Island Town Council will hold its July workshop-without-agenda (WWA) on Saturday, July 8, at 9:30 a.m. at the town hall.

• Miss Susies’ Storytime will be held at the town park on Saturday, July 8, at 10 a.m.

• The Fenwick Island Society of Homeowners (FISH) will hold its annual meeting and meet-the-candidates event on Saturday, July 15, at 9:30 a.m. Candidates for the three open seats on the town council are being invited to attend and speak to voters.

Millville

The town of Millville will hold its regular monthly town council meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, at town hall. Council will consider the adoption of the National Incident Management System (NIMS) Principals and Policies. Council members and Mayor Gary Willey were to appoint Tim Droney as vice mayor. They were also set to appoint an Emergency Operations committee.
