Millville council bans house moves
The Millville Town Council at their Oct. 10 meeting unanimously approved a resolution banning the moving of homes within the town. Deputy Mayor Joan Bennett proposed the resolution as a stop-gap measure pending the town approving a permanent ordinance that would ban such moves.

CIB report blasts proposed buffers
A Center for the Inland Bays report released last week blasted the effectiveness of the proposed buffer regulation within the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control’s most recent draft of its Pollution Control Strategy.

Life's a ball
Supporters of the South Coastal Library on Saturday jump-started a three-year campaign to raise $3.5 million for library expansion with the first annual Harvest Ball at the Baycenter in Dewey Beach.

Greyhounds reach the beach
Raincoats kept them dry and warm as they walked calmly, heads held high through the streets of Dewey Beach on Friday afternoon while their pictures were posted on the windows of nearly every Honda, Explorer and Saab in sight.
